Gary Coleman Marries Girlfriend Shannon Price in top secret Wedding

Former Diff'rent Strokes star Gary Coleman was secretly married to 22-year-old girlfriend Shannon Price last August, the actor has revealed. In an interview with Inside Edition, 40-year-old Coleman said he met Price on the set of Church Ball and it was love at first sight. However, Price said Coleman has anger problems.

Coleman and Price secretly wed on August 28, 2007 in a small, private ceremony in Nevada. The marriage took place on Price's 22nd birthday

the couple met on the set of the 2006 film Church Ball, which featured the story of a church basketball coach on a quest to win the championship for his underdog team.

Although Price is 5'7" and Coleman is only 4'8", the height difference is not a factor in their relationship, according to the couple. "He was ten feet tall to me, Price told Inside Edition, "because he was sweet and I really liked his personality."

In the Inside Edition interview, Coleman also revealed his relationship with Price was his first with anyone. "I never got the opportunity to be romantic or feel romantic with anyone," Coleman said. "I wasn't saving myself, she just happened to be the one."

Coleman's lack of relationships with women over the years has previously led to some speculation among gossip columnists and bloggers that he might be gay. This was also hinted at in the NBC made-for-television film The Unauthorized Story of Diff'rent Strokes, which starred Alon Williams as Coleman.

Price said the reason they kept the marriage secret until now is because she wanted to keep her "own identity." "I just want my own identity as well because I don't want to be known as Gary Coleman's wife."

All has not been perfect between the couple since they got together. Price told Inside Edition, according to the New York Post, that "[Gary] lets his anger conquer him sometimes. He throws things around, and sometimes he throws it in my direction." Price added that when Coleman gets upset, "I don't like the violence."
