PORTSMOUTH, Oh (WVLT) A teacher was shot and stabbed inside an elementary school in Portsmouth, Ohio, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
It happened in a classroom of Notre Dame Elementary in Portsmouth, Ohio this morning according to our sister station WSAZ-TV in West Virginia.
WSAZ reporters on the scene report that the suspect is in a home surrounded by police. There are reports of shots fired from the home.
The good news, from WSAZ-TV reporters on the scene, no children are believed to have been injured in the attack.
Police believe the shooting to be a domestic situation between a husband and wife.
Portsmouth is a small town in south-central Ohio, located right on the Ohio River
